Background to the artwork:
I visited the city of Poznan in Poland, where I wander around the old town where everything once began for this city. When you go there and really look at the old buildings and alleys, you experience a wonderful atmosphere. Sure, many of the old buildings are really worn, but that's exactly what allows you to experience the historical feeling, and you just want to see more and more of the city.
Of course I photographed a lot and then when I went through my pictures I started to see the pictures flow together and I started to combine the different parts of the city. That is what you can see in these works. Anyone who looks closely will probably find something in them.
But of course it is always up to the viewer to decide what they see in the artwork.

Bakgrund till detta verk:
Jag besökte staden Poznan i Polen, där jag vandrar runt i den gamla staden där allt en gång började för denna stad. När man går där och riktigt tittar på de gamla byggnader och gränder upplever man en härlig atmosfär. Visst är många av de gamla byggnader riktigt slitna men det är just det som gör att man kan uppleva den historiska känslan, och man vill bara se mer och mer av staden.
Självklart fotograferade mycket och när jag sedan gick igenom mina bilder började jag se bilderna flyta ihop och jag började kombinera de olika delarna av staden. Det är vad du kan se i dessa verk. Den som tittar noga finner nog en del i dem.
Men självklart är det alltid upp till betraktaren av avgöra vad denne ser i bilden.
